Thank you for visiting the Blog for the Carroll R. Pauley Memorial Endowment Symposium at the Department of History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This year our subject is “History in the Digital Age.” We will explore how historians are using digital technologies in their scholarship across a wide range of fields and how digital technologies are changing the practice of scholarship, research, teaching, and learning. This symposium will be one of premier gatherings of digital scholars in the country and offer a unique and important perspectives on the state-of-the-art scholarship and the future of digital humanities. The program addresses a central concern in the humanities today: in a networked, digitally transformative period, how do humanities scholars present their work?
A number of different bloggers will post their thoughts throughout the symposium. Please feel free to comment. The presentations will be available shortly after the event in podcast and webcast versions. Check back often!
